A
German man who was so scared of identify theft that he would
never use a cashpoint machine, finally gave in and used
one, and was arrested.
The
40 year-old from Muenster, apparently attracted attention
when he spent so long checking the ATM for cameras, devices
that would trap his finger prints on the keyboard and signs
that the screen was genuine, that people (presumably the
frustrated ones behind him in the queue) called the cops...
...
Oh, and he snapped a pair of surgical gloves on before he
actually pressed the buttons...
Police
arrived and after investigating decided to let the strange
guy go.
Doubtful
if he will use a cash machine again though.
