A
man managed to walk a fully grown horse past the lobby of
the Wilcox Memorial Hospital in Hawaii, up to the third
floor as part of a visit to a patient, reports Ananova,
the BBC and Star Bulletin newspaper.
Security
stopped the man and his horse there, but apparently let
the visit proceed.
Unfortunately
the man had taken the wrong horse to the person in hospital,
but it was probably the thought that counted.
The
hospital has now rethought its policy on animals being brought
in for visits.
They
already had a policy on cats and dogs, but nothing for horses.
Visitors
have been asked not to bring horses in to the hospital from
now on because of fears for the welfare of other patients.
