Berlin,
Germany:
A €100,000 BMW police car, designed to be theft proof, was stolen after police
officers accidentally left the keys in the ignition.
The
car is said to be fitted with the most sophisticated surveillance equipment and
immobilsers of the day.
The
car was apparently lost when two police officers jumped out of it in pursuit of
a joy rider who had just jumped out of his vehicle.
When
they returned to where they left the car it was gone.
Disciplinary
action is being taken against the officers and the car is still to be found.
