According
to a report we have seen on Ananova, a 27 year old woman in Austria thought it
would be funny to say "I don't" at her wedding ceremony to the crucial
question.
She
corrected herself, and said "I do", but the registrar at the ceremony,
in a castle in Steyr, Upper Austria, called the ceremony off.
(It
is apparently the law in Austria to cancel any wedding in which either of the
parties answer in the negative as a precaution against forced marriages...)
All
of the guests had to be sent home, and the wedding is to be rescheduled for March.
Must
be that good old Austrian sense of humor we've heard so much about...
