It happened on New Years Day, 2007.

The actor in question was "Days Of Their Lives" star Drake Hogestyn, who plays John Black.

An intruder burst into the Malibu home of the star, screaming "Where is he? I will cast him out" (according to a report we saw on the wsbtv.com website). The intruder was holding a bible at the time.

In the soap, John Black had been involved with a story line involving demonic possession.

Hogestyn, with help from his son, managed to restrain the intruder until the cops came.

The intruder admitted the charges. He will be sentenced in February.
