There's
been a punch-up in an Italian convent after the three nuns there fell out, according
to reports we have just seen on the BBC web site.
It
all apparently happened in a convent in Santa Clara, Bari, and left Mother Superior,
Sister Liliana, in hospital with scratch marks to her face.
Sister
Annamaria and Sister Gianbattista have since moved out of the convent, leaving
Sister Liliana
there on her own.
Sisters
Annamaria and Gianbattista claim that they were 'driven to distraction by the
nasty habits of their Mother Superior'.
Attempts
by the local Archbishop have been made more difficult with Sister Liliana determined
to maintain her solemn vow of silence.
Sister
Liliana has apparently written to the Pope to tell him that she will only leave
when God decides that it is time for her to go.
