According
to reports we have seen on Ananova, originally from the Sun, a manager has been
fired after only 10 minutes in the job.
This
is a new record.
The
manager was Leroy Rosenior; the club is Torbay United.
Rosenior
had given a press conference which ended at 3:30 at which he announced his appointment
at the struggling club.
But,
by 3:40 he was told by the chairman that the club had been sold, and that he wouldn't
be the new boss...
The
previous shortest run for a manager was apparently held by Dave Bassett, who served
for just 72 hours at Crystal Palace in 1984.
Torbay
has been in managerial crisis over the last year with four different managers
in that time.
