An
Austrian man (who we will not name before his trial) is reported to have stormed
into a bank on the main street of Vienna (Bawag Bank) brandishing a gun, recently,
according to reports we have seen on Ananova.
Unfortunately
for him he was quickly cornered as, next door, was the home of the country's special
forces headquarters and a police station.
He
retreated to the first floor of the bank and grabbed three members of staff and
a customer.
He
then proceeded to agree loans with customers on the telephone before he eventually
gave himself up to the police after a five hour seige.
Staff
at the bank then had to contact those given loans to check their details.
Nobody
was hurt.
