A coin that someone somewhere has conveniently released on this Valentine's Day, apparently shows that Cleopatra and Antony didn't look like movie stars. Shock horror.

Some sources have claimed Cleopatra was a 'minger', beak nosed, had thin lips with a pointy-out chin... Antony apparently had a flat 'bashed in' face with a squashed nose.

Here is the coin (and no, it's not to scale (in USA it's quite a bit smaller than 1c, in the UK the same size as a 5p))...
