The thing is, thinking of the practicalities here, you are in the middle of a house burglary, the house is empty apart from an annoying yappy type dog... What do you do?

This problem was solved by five young burglars in Lancaster, California, according to a report we saw in the Los Angeles Daily News.

The yappy type dog was a Chihuahua, called Roxy.

To shut the dog up, one of the burglars apparently picked her up and put her in the freezer.

2 year old Roxy was in the freezer for about an hour, and was unharmed.
