You
may have read our story earlier in the month about a duck who survived being shot,
and then stored in a fridge for two days (here)...
Her
name is Perky and she's done it again, according to a report we have just seen
on Ananova.
Perky
needed surgery for injuries to her wing, leg and beak.
It
was during this operation, at a wildlife sanctuary in Florida, that her heart
stopped.
The
vet in charge of the operation declared her dead, but within 20 seconds she was
flapping her wings and walking about...
The
duck, who now has a pin in her wing, is now expected to make a good recovery.
