An 81 year old man from Fort Sumner, New Mexico, USA, thought he had finally got rid of a pesky mouse from his house.

He managed to grab hold of the rodent and threw it outside into a pile of burning leaves.

Unfortunately, the mouse, now on fire, ran back into the house underneath a window setting the whole house into flames.

The house was burned to the ground, along with everything in it...

No-one was hurt...
