Milwaukee
Art Museum, USA:
Radio station Clear Channel held an all-you-can-drink Martinifest for the
bargain price of $30 in this popular art museum.
But
the party soon degenerated into a drunken riot with revelers passing out, vomiting,
shoving each other, and then four young men climbed onto a tall bronze sculpture
named Standing Woman, by 20th-century American artist Gaston Lachaise.
Laura
Collins, 35, told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
"They
were standing on it, grabbing the boobs, and somebody was just taking pictures
with a cell phone."
The
museum has reviewed its policy on holding parties following this event.
The
station manager at Clear Channel is said to be reviewing the price of the tickets,
which he describes as being 'too cheap'.
