Man Tells Judge: Jail Me, Wife Nags Me On House Arrest

Nagging Nightmare

Algerian Ahmed Salhi, 24, was sentenced to 9 months house arrest in Ferrara, north Italy, for breaching immigration rules.

But a week after being sentenced he returned to the court asking to be jailed because he couldn't bare his nagging wife going on at him.

He begged officials to take him in to custody, according to Corriere della Sera.

"I need some peace," said Salhi.

The court agreed and he has now been jailed.
