The First Human To Run A Mile In Under Four Minutes | It
was achieved by 25 year old medical student Roger Bannister who managed a mile
in 3 minutes and 59.4 seconds. The
four minute mile barrier had become something of a psychological mountain, with
some experts predicting it was impossible to break. Bannister
used his own cutting edge scientific techniques to aid his training for the event. |
