1969 Beatle George Harrison's House In Drugs Raid

The police, led by a Sergeant Pilcher (who was apparently jailed in 1972 for planting drugs), ransacked Harrison's house looking for drugs.

Reportedly Harrison, told police:

"You needn't have turned the whole bloody place upside down. All you had to do was ask me and I would have shown you where I keep everything."

Harrison and his wife were able to convince the court that the hash was for their own personal use and were fined £250.
