Bomb Explodes In Boeing 727 At 11,000 Feet, Disaster Averted | Four
people were killed when they were sucked out of a TWA passenger jet over Greece,
following an explosion in the starboard wing. All the other 118 passengers and
crew survived; 7 required hospital attention but only 3 needed treatment. The
explosion blew a 6ft by 3ft (2m x 1m) hole. The
pilot, Captain Richard Petersen, was hailed a hero as he safety landed the plane
after telling Greek Air Control that air pressure in the cabin was failing. |
