I Heart Huckabees (aka I Love Huckabees)
Short plot summary

Albert Markovski (played by Jason Schwartzman) calls on the services of two existential detectives Bernard and Vivien (played by Dustin Hoffman and Lily Tomlin), after he is troubled by a coincidence involving a Somalian refugee.

What our panel of critics thought

"Dustin, did you tell me that 'We are all part of a big sheet?' Like in Monty Python's Life of Brian? 'Life's a bit of sheet when you look at eeet...""

"A sumptuous existential philosophy com. A lightness of touch and a warmth that will have you reaching for philosophy books."

"A French movie made in America."

"That music will either add something esoteric to your moviejoy or will annoy you forever and a day."

"This is not an action movie, nor is it a kissing movie. What kind of movie is it? It defies description, let's just say it's intelligent and funny with some solid performance from Jude Law and Mark Wahlberg."

"Has philosophical theory ever been this much fun?"

"If you have ever wanted to see someone smack Wahlberg in the kisser with a mini space hopper then this movie is for you."

Please tell me the ending

Is reality interconnected, as our heroes Bernard and Vivien claim, or completely unconnected as our anti-hero Caterine Vauban (played by Isabelle Huppert) professes?

Yes and No... This movie is a journey, don't worry too much about the destination...

Directed by David O. Russell.
