Following a request on a government website the US government has made the following statement:
"The US government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race," says Phil Larson of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
"In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public's eye."
Have your say on this obviously carefully worded statement:
"any member of the human race"
"So there's no denial on those cows being disemboweled at night by aliens then..."
| |
Peter Parker, Gerrymanderer |
"no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public's eye."
"Does the public even have an eye, more like 7 billion pairs of eyes..."
| |
Steve Austin, Pander Breeder
"or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race"
"So they could have flown overhead without stopping then (or driven past in a car)?"
| |
Hamish McCall, Fish Pedicurist |
"there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden"
"Credible information like the credible information there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq...?"
| |
Han Solo, Elvis Impersonator
"The US government has no evidence"
"What about any other government in the world?"
