Sea Salt City: Telephones smaller than the size of a pea may be too small to use, according to respected technology writer Gerald D Tooly. "With an exact size to a pea sized phone you could easily press the number pad with a pin and squint a hell of a lot, but anything smaller and you would have to take a magnifying glass the size of your hand with you which would defeat the whole object." Experts in miniaturisation say that for this reason phones will never be smaller than sugar cube size.
