Political
satire and the growing funny videos industry has been set
back ten years today as Barack Obama and Joe Biden were
elected to the White House, according to experts.
The
shares in Google, owners of the Youtube website, are expected
to collapse later today as the realisation that the Republican
Party, one of its most successful contributors of recent
months, are out of power.
A
satarist told this website:
"A
John McCain and Sarah Palin presidency would have been
one of the most comedically satisfying outcomes but it
is not to be. It's a terrible day for laughter, merth
and hilarity."
Barack
Obama is expected to be satireproof for at least the first
year which may lead to The Daily Show being on only once
a week and there are rumours that Saturday Night Live may
now be moved to a Tuesday.
