Olympic
police have arrested an Olympic panda, we can now reveal.
The
unnamed panda, above, was said to have mouthed a Chinese
expletive critical of the Communist Party when cameras were
filming him.
Olympic
police immediately pushed world media from the official
panda media enclosure, and then screams and shouting were
reported from the panda pen.
A
panda lover who saw the incident told our reporter:
"The
panda didn't mouth anything untoward. He was happily chewing
his bamboo and all hell broke loose. The Chinese authorities
are hyper sensitive at the moment and I really think that
this is the worst over reaction so far."
A
Communist Party Official said:
"I
didn't myself see what the panda said, but if he said
what I'm told he said then he got what was coming to him."
Pandas
are an endangered species and it is rare for them to be
beaten up even in China.
