year-old diva, Shirley Bassey, left the Glastonbury revelers
on their feet after a bravado performance, yesterday.
Bassey,
wearing a red sequined dress which showed off one of her
fine 70 year-old legs, belted out the hits such as "Heyyyyyyyyyyyy
Biiiiiiiiiiggggggggg Speennnnnnn-doooooooooooooooo ooooooooo
er", "Iiiiiiiii Ammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat
Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammm-mmmmmmmmmmmmmm"
and "Iiiiiii Woooooaaaaa-aiiiiiiiiiaaarrrrgggghhhhhhhh

The
three day Glastonbury festival, which ended Sunday, had
the biggest number of ovations in Glastonbury history, according
to our figures.
A

there are no seats around the music stages the audience
for all of the concerts are in the standing ovation position
throughout the performance. I can't see what all the fuss
is about."
Out
of the more than 170,000 festival goers who attended this
years festival, over 98% were on their feet by the end of
the performance.

other news: Five cows died of a suspected drugs overdose
at Glastonbury, police have reported. A person dressed as
a yellow rabbit is being sought for questioning.
