Madonna
fans were said to be relieved last night to learn that the star hasn't lost her
touch for cutting-edge controversy after all.
On
Friday it appeared that the star and her husband had managed to adopt an 18 month-old
boy from an African country without any serious problems.
However,
we now learn that adopting a child in Malawi and then taking it abroad before
18 months is completely illegal, and so, unless something extraordinary happens
in the next day or so, there could be newspaper headlines about it for months.
Fan
and unauthorized internet biographer Shelly Mustang told our reporter:
"She
is a media genius.
She will forever be remembered as a 'wronged Mother trying
to do what's best for her child and for millions of orphans
in an African country, but being stopped by greedy lawyers'.
Who'll remember the crucifix stunt after this?"
