From
our Entertainment reporter, Macy Blue:
I
am sitting, here, in a small, yet perfectly formed, yacht, anchored off the coast
of Southern Italy.
Behind
me, the sun is starting to set after what has been, all day, an almost perfectly
cloudless and, now, golden redish, sky.
The
birds are singing. A cool breeze is rocking us like a perfectly qualified nanny-supervised
baby cradle.
I
am on expenses.
I
have a well stocked drinks cabinet.
All
is well with the world.
Unfortunately,
as at this precise moment, I have heard nothing new on the predicted marriage
of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt which was supposed to happen Sunday.
I
have been waiting for my cell phone to ring with a message, now, for about 36
hours.
But
nothing has come through.
Nothing
about the bride resplendent in white lace from head to foot.
Or
the groom, slim and tanned with immaculately coiffured hair, and nails filed to
Hollywood perfection.
But
we live in hope and this yacht is paid for until Wednesday, and the drinks cabinet
is well stocked, so we will just have to wait.
But,
be assured, you will be the second person to hear about anything that happens
when it does.
