Paris Hilton Engaged To Paris Latsis, Our News Imagineers Tell Us What To Expect

Are Paris and Paris to marry in Paris?

Paris Hilton, the hotel heiress and global reality TV star, is to marry Paris Latsis, a Greek shipping heir.

We asked our news imagineers to speculate about the inevitable wedding day. This is what they told us to expect:

The wedding is to take place in Paris on Liberation of Paris Day 2006. The couple are to stay in the Paris suite of the Paris Hotel, Paris.

Hilton's wedding dress will be made out of the finest Paris weaved silk, spun by some of the most exhausted-from-drinking-wine-from-Paris, Paris silk worms.

Wedding sculpture: Paris and Paris in wedding top hat and tails, sculpted out of Plaster of Paris.

On the menu the main course will be Paris-Brest chicken with whipped cream [recipe here] with a selection of Paris vegetables.

Desert: Paris Pears with Paris Brandy Punch Ice cream.

To entertain in the after-dinner dance, Paris' native musician Betty Paris will make a rare performance with her Paris Players.

The movie will be either Paris (1979), Paris (2003), Paris (1998), Paris (1929), Paris (1936), Paris (1954), Paris (1951), Paris (1985) (TV), "Paris" (1994), Paris (1924), Paris (1926) or maybe Paris, Texas (1984).

An exclusive picture deal is to be signed with French celebrity magazine Paris Match.

Today's Newsweek correction
In an earlier article today, Newsweek mistakenly attributed the following quotation to Miss Hilton: "I'm so excited about marrying Paris Latsis. And the nice thing is after we get married I won't have to change my first name!" The source for this quotation has since been found to have been a talking parrot owned by a writer on the staff of Jay Leno.
