Israeli
and Palestinian leaders met for their four yearly game of Hokey
Pokey last night.
At
one point their hands accidentally touched, giving the best hopes for peace in
the Middle East since the last one.

Sharon
and Abbas agree to put their right hand in, take their right hand out, put their
right hand in and then shake it all about |
Sources
close to the talks said the leaders are not quite ready to put their left hand
in yet, but hopes for the Hokey Pokey are good, and that's what it's all about.
In
a briefing later, a spokesman for the Israeli government told reporters: "Ohh!
Hokey pokey pokey."
A
Palestinian official briefed in an almost similar vein, "Ohhh! Pokey pokey
hokey."
Reliable
sources close to the talks say that it's still too early to say if the sides will
return to attempt a knees bend arm stretch rah rah rah!
