The
Fox News Network took the unprecedented step of calling the
2004 US Presidential election result as a win for incumbent
Republican George W Bush, almost 2 months before a single
vote has been cast, and three weeks before the first televised
debate, last night.
Fox
was the first to announce that George W Bush won in 2000,
although it was quite a while until the vote counters caught
up.
The
confirmed Fox News 2004 result is surprisingly similar to
in 2000, but with New Mexico back in the Republican fold.
Fox
Director of News and Merchandising, Herb Balaclava told reporters:
"This is yet another first for our network and simply
shows those liberal pansies in the other networks who
is the man... As
if anyone needed to be told."
Analysts
at the other networks were sitting in stunned silence last
night, "pretty much like they were in 2000", another
Fox spokesman smirked at us.
