Manager told of a me in TEAM, i remains elusive
There's still no I in team...

Managers across the world were moved to a confused, collective, silence this morning, after a worker commented that there has always been a ME in TEAM, despite the lack of an I.

One of the most annoying management philosophises of the last 10 years has been the comment:

There's no 'I' in team

This catchy jingle-phrase was originally introduced by a management consultant to encourage individuals to think for the good of the team, not of themselves. He has since become the 50th richest management consultant in history.

A poorer management consultant, who continues to be employed by Fortune 500 companies to give seminars on team building, told us:

"If this gets out, it could be the end of an entire management paradigm."

A burly personnel manager told us:

"It's the wrong way round. Technically it's an EM in team, not a ME, so it doesn't make any sense. I don't feel foolish in the slightest. I will continue to use the original phrase."
