Ronald Reagan Spotted in London
"A man works down the chip shop swears he's Ronnie"

Ronald Reagan, only one day after his funeral, has been seen in a fish and chip shop in East London, England.

The 93 year old former US president served our reporter with cod and chips.

The 40th US president then asked if our reporter wanted salt and vinegar on his food before wrapping it up so that it could be taken home.

The sighting ties in with a number of unconfirmed Elvis Presley sightings in the area.

A sceptical Elvis sightings investigator told us:

"We have issued a picture of what Ronald Reagan would look like in Elvis glasses."

"It's understandable that there is confusion as the two icons had similar hair styles - a slicked back greasy and bouffant black."

"There is some doubt to the integrity of the reports as the Reagan spotted was wearing Presley glasses but kept introducing himself as 'the Gipper'. The person seen could have just been a confused Presley, we are investigating further."
